Study
The CEA is actively involved in post-graduate studies, in Portugal and internationally.
In Portugal, it cooperates with the African Studies Department of ISCTE, where CEA members created three M.A. programs:

In parallel, the CEA members participate in the program of M.A. in History of Africa at the History Department of the Lisboa University.
At the internatinoal level, the CEA members collaborate with other European and African universities, i.e. Université de Paris 7-Diderot, Université de Lille 1, Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Mozambique and Universidade Agostinho Neto in Angola.
The CEA promotes also the integration of post-graduate students and young doctors within its research projects. At the present time, 21 research assistants are doing Ph.D and M.A. thesis at the CEA and participate actively in research activities. Seven post-doctorate investigators work at the CEA.
