Partnerships

The CEA has developed connections with research centers, universities and individual researchers in Portugal, in other European countries, in Africa, in Brasil and in the US. In this context, every project is constituted by an international team and is supported by a formal agreement. The CEA has research protocols with institutions both in Europe and Africa and is a member of several international networks.

The CEA integrates the european network AEGIS (Africa-Europe Group for Interdicsciplinary Studies). CEA has also established scientific partnerships with CODESRIA (Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa) and with IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement).
